About Todd Rundgren

An innovator in performance and production
In his early career, Todd Rundgren played everything from blues rock to garage rock, though his unique style is a fusion of genres that ranges from British pop-rock to Broadway show tunes. In 1970 he embarked on his solo career with the release of Runt. Working out of Los Angeles, Todd Rundgren released Something/Anything? two years later, making a splash with singles like "I Saw the Light" and "Hello It's Me." Rundgren began pushing the boundaries of the genre, delving into progressive and psychedelic rock. He launched Utopia, a project that evolved from his collaboration with the backing band for A Wizard, a True Star. The cult hit band was famous for their spectacular concerts and rock hits such as "Feet Don't Fail Me Now" and "Love in Action." Utopia officially called it quits in 1986, but since then they have reemerged in different iterations for reunion concerts. And Rundgren remains busy with his solo career, releasing more than twenty-five albums to date. He has also made a name for himself as a producer, working with music legends like Meat Loaf, the New York Dolls, and Badfinger.
Few artists have had the prolific career that Todd Rundgren has had. Reserve your spot at a Todd Rundgren concert by getting your cheap Todd Rundgren tickets here!
