Heart Tickets

Heart are a hard rock and metal band founded by the two sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson. Their success started in the early '70s, though they still continue to perform and create new music today. The two are four years apart and actually started their music careers separately. Nancy took professional guitar and flute lessons and later tried to get into the industry as a folksinger. Ann on the other had never took any formal music lessons but decided to join an all-male vocal group, Heart. Nancy would later join the group in 1974 and two years later they produced their first album, "Dreamboat Annie."

The band's initial success began in Canada, but they quickly took over the U.S. and grew popular worldwide. Before the band really got started, Ann worked at a Kentucky Fried Chicken. However, she claims that if she hadn't been fired from that job, the group might not have been formed, so she has considered sending the mascot a platinum record as a thanks. Heart has had back to back Top 10 albums in each decade since the '70s. Famous songs include "Barracuda," "Straight On," and "This Man is Mine."

Awards and accolades
Heart has been selling out of cheap tickets and albums across the world since they became popular. In fact, they have sold over 35 million records worldwide which includes 22.5 in the U.S. Because of this success, they earned the 57 spot on VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock" chart and in 2013, they became Rock and Roll Hall of Famers. One of their biggest personal achievements comes from the fact that they are one of the first entirely female-driven rock bands to garner the popularity they have. The band has said that one of their bigger influences has come from Led Zeppelin as they had a similar sound to what they were going for with both the electric and acoustic.
