Hamilton tells the story of Alexander Hamilton who was a Founding Father. Immigrating from the West Indies, he soon become close to George Washington during the Revolutionary War. Not long after, he became the nation’s first Treasury Security. This story elaborates upon America’s history, through modern song and dance. Genres such as rap, pop, hip hop, soul, and more are incorporated by the infamous Lin- Manuel Miranda. After debuting at The Public Theater in February of 2015 to a sold-out audience this show took its own course and continues to be majorly successful.
