Artists that are none too serious
Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte founded the band in 2004, naming it after an area code for Boulder and Denver, Colorado. The electro-rock duo released their debut album three years later, and their single "Electroshock" brought them to the attention of labels and fans. After signing with Photo Finish Records, they released Want, which featured the hit song "Don't Trust Me." They became a festival favorite, performing at Warped Tour and the Mile High Music Festival, and they went on tour with superstars like I Fight Dragons. They started collaborating with other top names in the music industry, including Katy Perry, Lil Jon, and Kesha. In 2010 Streets of Gold came out, featuring Kesha on the hit song "My First Kiss." The album hit No. 7 on the charts. 2013's Omens and 2016's Night Sports continued the pair's hyped up beats and sardonic lyrics, giving them an edge that's all their own.
