The pioneers of livetronica
Dominic Lalli and Jeremy Salken met in Boulder, Colorado. They began collaborating on live instrumental electronic music, getting caught up in a quickly evolving genre. Lalli commanded both the music producing and the saxophone punches, while Salken laid down the beats on drums. In 2008 they started performing as the Big Gigantic, developing a deeply loyal local fan base. While the music industry was skeptical of the jazz EDM duo, Lalli and Salken had faith in both their music and their fans. Throwing themselves fully into their vision, Lalli and Salken struck on superstar success. Now, Big Gigantic is one of the most popular acts at festivals like Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Coachella, Governors Ball, and Electric Forest.
Big Gigantic concerts are full-on theatrical events, combining dramatic lighting, creative staging, and visual effects. Fiercely loyal to their fans, Lalli and Salken pour everything into every show. Big Gigantic concerts often sell out – their Rowdytown appearances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre has sold out every year since 2012.
