About Gov't Mule
A regular at festivals around the country, Gov't Mule has been entertaining audiences with their Southern rock sound since 1994. The band is famous for their live shows so cheap Gov't Mule tickets sell out fast. Grab yours today so you can experience the band's sensational jam for yourself!
A Southern jam style, in concert and studio
Gov't Mule started to come together when Warren Haynes and Allen Woody began working together with The Allman Brothers Band. With similar music tastes, Haynes and Woody started to collaborate with drummer Matt Abts, resulting in the release of their debut album in 1995. Gov't Mule began to find commercial success in 2000 with their album Life Before Insanity. Tragically, guitarist Allen Woody died in his apartment later that year. Gov't Mule honored their former member by recording two albums with a cast of rotating bass guitarists. John Entwistle from The Who, Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chris Squire from Yes, and many others provided bass guitar on the records. Gov't Mule frequently honors other superstar bands at their concerts, playing covers from Rolling Stone, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and more.
With the members totally devoted to the immersive, surprising, spontaneous elements of live music, Gov't Mule concerts are memorable events. They're also extremely popular so it's important to score your cheap Gov't Mule tickets before they're all gone!
