Cracking into the rising house scene
After growing up outside Chicago, Ryan Raddon went to Brigham Young University. There he honed his DJ skills in his dorm room and worked at a record store. He relocated to San Francisco and got involved with the growing deep house movement, picking up his moniker in the process. After signing a record deal, Kaskade started his career with It's You, It's Me in 2003. He continued to gain a devoted following on the dance floor, his 2008 album Strobelite Seduction heralding his breakthrough into mainstream success. He worked with EDM legend deadmau5 on "Move for Me" and "I Remember." By this point, Kaskade was an EDM icon. He performed at Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, and Electric Daisy Carnival. His performances at the 2015 Coachella were some of the best-attended sets ever, firmly cementing his place in the pantheon of dance music gods.
