From coffee shops to the top of the charts
Needtobreathe's origin story starts with brothers "Bear" and "Bo" Rineheart, who started playing the coffee house circuit in Seneca, South Carolina. After teaming up with Seth Bolt, the band released an album independently in 2001. Through rigorously self-promoting, they landed a record deal and released their debut studio album, Daylight, in 2006. Lauded by Christian music institutions like CCM Magazine and the Dove Awards, Needtobreathe cemented their status as an up-and-coming indie rock band. They found crossover success when their song "More Time" was featured on the P.S. I Love You soundtrack. Their albums continued to scale the charts with hit songs like "Lay 'Em Down" and "Brother" with Gavin DeGraw. In 2016 Hard Love climbed all the way to number two on the Billboard 200 chart, proving that even when Needtobreathe experiments outside its genre fans respond with enthusiasm.
Needtobreathe continues to sweep listeners away with inventive and authentic music. Join in on the fun of their charismatic concerts by getting your cheap Needtobreathe tickets today!
