Known professionally as Rod Wave, Rodarius Marcell Green is an American rapper and singer. Known for his strong voice and incorporation of hip hop and R&B, he has been recognized as a trailblazer of soul-trap and rose to fame in 2019 with his single "Heart on Ice". Wave has been recognized for his "candor and shrewd ability to tug at listeners' heartstrings" and has many achievements such as gaining #2 on the Billboard 200 with his second album "Pray 4 Love".
