About Silent Planet
The band Silent Planet is one of the top American Christian bands of today. Performing in a metalcore style, the band originally hailed from Azusa, California. Since their inception, they were signed to Solid State Records and have enjoyed significant success. They have recorded two separate EPs as well as three separate albums. The name of their band came after the science fiction novel written by C.S. Lewis, titled Out of the Silent Planet. The band has received a lot of praise and attention for their unique style and energetic concerts. They have also been asked to perform with a variety of big names in the genre such as Norma Jean, Gideon, Texas in July, and Fit for a King. The band will be going on tour this year, giving everyone the opportunity to hear what has made them so successful.
A History of Silent Planet
The band formed several years ago and released their first EP in 2012. This was recorded in Atlanta, Georgia prior to going on tour with several other bands such as Dayseeker and Becoming the Archetype. Shortly after this tour, they released a song titled "Tiny Hands" which was well-received. The band continued touring and performing in the local area prior to releasing a five-track EP in 2014. This told the story of some of the tragedies of World War II. Since that time, they have gone on a variety of tours and released multiple albums, which has only contributed further to their success. The band will be going on tour again this year.
Silent Planet on Tour in 2019
Those who would like to hear a Silent Planet concert should know that the band is going on tour in 2019, giving everyone the chance to take in a concert in person. There are cheap Silent Planet tickets available; however, they typically sell out pretty quickly. Some of their upcoming concert dates include performances in Cincinnati, Sauget, and Salt Lake City before heading north to Canada. Be sure to purchase tickets ahead of time to make sure that this opportunity is not missed.
