Heaven Trap Pioneers

Scott Land and Derek Andersen met at University of California, Irvine, where they were a part of the same fraternity. They found themselves at a music production school called Icon Collective with none other than Nghtmre, another successful DJ in the industry. Slander have been making a mark in the EDM world, performing at events like EDC, Electric Zoo, Ultra Music Festival and more. Their rise to popularity is credited to their remix of Showtek's "We Like to Party". Soon after, the duo signed a long-term residency with XS Las Vegas. "Nuclear Bonds", a collaboration track with Nghtmre, was released on Diplo's record label, Mad Decent. In 2016, they embarked on Nghtmre's "Gud Vibrations" North American Tour. They have been nonstop releasing tracks as of recently, under the Canadian electronic music label Monstercat. With their new label, Slander has collaborated with Kayzo, Seven Lions, Said the Sky, and many more big names within the industry. Slander is making big moves, and their not stopping anytime soon.
