About The Magnetic Fields
The Magnetic Fields quickly snared listeners with their hypnotizing fresh sound. Fans snatch up cheap Magnetic Fields tickets, so make sure you buy yours today to immerse yourself in the unconventional world of the Magnetic Fields.
Outside-the-box thinking
Founded in Boston by front man Stephin Merritt, the Magnetic Fields released their debut album in 1991. In 1999 the Magnetic Fields released 69 Love Songs, a three volume concept project that used everything from ukulele and banjo to xylophone and synthesizer. The Magnetic Fields' following albums all have a unique twist to them. Every song on the 2004 album i started with that letter. The following album, Distortion, played with noise music while rejecting synthesizers. And the 2012 record Love at the Bottom of the Sea utilized synthesizers in a fresh new way. It's impossible to pigeonhole the Magnetic Fields' unique sound, which can encompass everything from synthpop to indie rock, but there's never any doubt about the band's musical integrity. Famous for Merritt's lyric-writing, the Magnetic Fields is known for love songs with a ironic and witty slant.
The Magnetic Fields have developed a strong cult following. With fans desperate to see their charismatic live shows, cheap Magnetic Fields tickets disappear quickly. Snag yours today so you don't miss these mind-bending rockers as they tour the country.
