From teen rockers to international superstars

Started in 1999, this post-hardcore band from Irvine could hardly imagine what an impact they would have on the music industry. Through working the local scene and selling albums at shows, they were able to build up a substantial fan base. After signing with Island Records, the band's popularity really started to kick off. In 2007 and 2008 Thrice released the ambitious Alchemy Index, four concept EPs that focused on the different natural elements. In 2012, following the tour for Major/Minor, the band went on a temporary hiatus. They returned four years later with several festival appearances, performing at events like Skate and Surf Fest and Riot Fest. In 2016 they released To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere. In 2018 they signed with Epitaph Records and released "The Grey," hinting at more new music to come.
