A Revolutionary Venue
Located in Midtown Detroit, Little Caesars Arena is home to the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL and the Detroit Pistons of the NBA. The multi-purpose arena opened in September of 2017 and had replaced the Joe Louis Arena as the home to Detroit’s major events. With a bowl like design, the arena holds a maximum of 20,491 fans for basketball games and 19,515 for hockey games. With a unique layout, the front offices, box office, as well as retail spaces are not attached directly to the bowl portion of the arena. A glass covered concourse connects the two buildings, allowing for fans to leave their seats and easily get to the team stores and concessions.
Sports Tickets
Along with being the home to the Red Wings and the Pistons, the venue also hosts UFC fights, WWE performances as well as Figure Skating. NCAA sports also occasionally makes it home to events for hockey, wrestling, and basketball.
Concert Tickets
Since the arena has opened, there have been several noteworthy musicians using it as a stop on their nationwide tours. The very first event at the venue was held by none other than the legend Kid Rock himself. Performing over seven shows at the venue, he introduced the people of Detroit to their newest event center. Other noteworthy performers include Ed Sheeran, Paul McCartney, Janet Jackson, Lady Gaga, and Elton John. Already in 2019, the venue has an impressive list of performers making stops including Pink and Carrie Underwood.
