Jansen Saves the Day
June 4, 2017 -All-star closer Kenley Jansen had pitched two innings the night before the game. Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts wasn’t keen on making him play against the Brewers. Jansen however told Roberts that he was ready to play if anything crazy happens; and sure enough, it did. After a grand slam from Chris Taylor put the Dodgers in the lead in the ninth inning, Roberts called on Jansen who effortlessly kept the Brewers at bay, finishing with a win for the Dodgers 10-8.
