From the TV Screen to the Stage
Growing up in Alabama, Riley Green built his life on some favorite obsessions of Southern boys – sports and country music. He began developing his musical talents into a career, releasing an EP in 2013. Green first experienced being in the public spotlight the following year when he was a contestant on the CMT reality show, Redneck Island. While he didn't make it very far on the deserted island show, the extra exposure helped increase his growing fanbase. He rapidly started recording and releasing new music, issuing an EP a year starting in 2015. His 2017 EP, Outlaw Like Us, landed at No. 5 on the US Heatseekers chart. But it was his 2018 single "There Was This Girl" that made him a household name in country music. The song broke into the Top 25 of the US Country chart, heralding the successful release of the subsequent EP; In a Truck Right Now.
